Fibre Tech

 

            •       Stir Duram Rainkote Fibre-Techwell.•       Applya generous, thickfirst coat usinga brush.

•       Allow to dry for approximately4hours before applying next coat.
•       Apply each successive coat at rights angles to the previous coatto ensurea consistent film thickness.
•       To ensure water resistance,a minimum consistent film thicknessof2 mm is required which mustbe built up with atleast two coats.
•       Rainkote Fibre-Tech can be overcoated witha good quality acrylic exterior paint.
•       For ponding* applications (onceprimed with Duraprime), apply at least4 coats ofRainkote Fibre-Tech to geta minimum film thickness of3 mm and allow7 dry days curing time. Rinse thoroughly with cleanwater several times before filling and introducing fish.
 
CLEANING
Hands and equipment are easily cleaned in water while wet. Collect spills withsuitable absorbent material.
 
IMPORTANT
•       When Duram Rainkote Fibre-Tech is used inlong-term ponding*applications, Duram Duraprime epoxy primer or other epoxy primermust be used.
•       Rainkote Fibre-Tech must be used in conjunctionwith Duram Duramesh reinforcing membrane when used for covering previouslyrepaired large cracks and gaps, or for lap joints and flashings where there may be substantial substrate movement.
•       Do not apply if rain is imminent.
•       Whilst Rainkote Fibre-Tech is designed fora long life, it is advisable to givea maintenance coat every5 years.
•       Ambient and surface temperatures must be between 5ºC and 40ºC during application.
SAFETYPRECAUTIONS
•       Skin contact:Wash thoroughlywith soap and water.
•       Eye Contact: Flush immediatelywith water for 10- 15 minutes and contacta physician.
•       Respiratory problems: Remove affected person tofresh air immediately and contacta physician.
•       Not for internal consumption.
